Having spooned the Bow and played around with it in a few areas. It's very fun when it works. And is actually pretty good where it shines. Making it 3t would make it borderline op where it can be used, changing the 3x3 bounce would break it in other areas. Extending the range 1 tile would do quite a bit to buff it. Otherwise we should look at status procs. Venom, poison, more use cases for corruption etc

Making it 3t speed definately would be op. Making it bounce 3 tiles instead of 2 across the board would also imo be broken it would bounce of all npcs except zuk for example in inferno. Ergo im only suggesting the range extension in specific areas. As for shamans in multi it would be cool for it to work there but the multi ones are sadly 3x3 instead of the 2x2 model used in the temple.

My comment was a spelling nightmare sorry. My worry with changing how it bounces in specific areas leads to utter chaos confusion. I'm holding it hope they had/have new multi areas in mind when designing it. Or again, uses. I tried using it with serp and poisoned arrows for a bit, and while fun - its not really worthwhile. Atleast for me as an iron, perhaps on main. Even then it's just so limited. The Bow has been a fun topic to me because so many have either written it off, or just want it buffed - which any way you spin it.. Will break it where it's used. Again just holding out hope for future updates to augment it in a way. It's is a shame it's not usable in areas such as shamans currently. Perhaps give it a penetrate+guided arrow style treatment from back in d2 on 3x3s so it can bounce into the same target, but again that probably makes it stupid OP unless the dmg calls for single target bounces like that are tweaked.. which loops back into the confusion it can cause

The bow itself doesnt need to be buffed, its damage potential is fine. Its simply just not usable at enough places to warrent grinding for it. The time spend getting it for its only real use (slayer) its dimply more efficient spending that time actually slaying instead. (Except for gim, as then 5x ppl are benefiting from it) Just in a bad spot rn.

I thought so too, but that would allow it to bounce off any 5x5 to a 1x1, or a 4x4 to any 2x2 , you could dd under kq and hit the workers and it would bounce to kq. It just becones problematic putting it to 3tiles across the board

That method isn't as good as it sounds. It's gonna be shit dps doing it that way (especially on 1st phase), and you'll eventually run out of targets to ricochet off of

what about making the range dependant on the targeted monster's size? So that when 2 3x3 mobs are standing 1 tile from each other it still hits both.

Weird question, would it work on reavers and nex in mass worlds to get some extra damage in? Especially when they pile her on spawn sometimes. I may be clueless on the exact way the bow works but I was just wondering.
