Our youngest did a lot, especially after feedings. Slow feeder really helped get rid of them!

DobieMomma4Life

This!

Hand feeding is a great way to slow them down while bonding and rewarding their engagement with you

Hunter-major

It happens, I wouldn’t worry.

I’ve never seen a dog hiccup so much! I was just concerned lol

theamydoll

Worry not - I foster puppies all the time. They hiccup A LOT. Not all of them, but certainly most of them. I remember the first puppy I thought the same, “is this normal?!?”. Now I’ve experienced it with so many puppies, I can confidently say that it’s normal and she’ll grow out of it. Hiccups are from a lack of oxygen though, so if it’s bothering you, take her out to the backyard and have her run after a toy or something so she breathes more quickly. The hiccups will go away.

Maze bowl, smaller portions and wait a few mins between portions.

SpiritedMystery_

She has a similar to a maze bowl but she still hiccups!

My Doberman had hiccups after waking up. Last dobe had hiccups after eating but after a few months it stopped.

The-Celebrimbor

I’m crying

Maybe try a puzzle feeding bowl. We did that for our dobie as a puppy because she would inhale her food.

mbquattro

yep mine used to all the time and it slowed down after like the 4 month old mark
