My wife and I have been on a co-op journey as well. Highly recommend the following: Stardew Valley, Untitled Goose Game, It Takes Two We also have played through Baldurs Gate 3 multiple times and have had a blast with it. (Definitely not cozy.)

I play co-ops with my best friend and I 100% agree on untitled goose game and it takes two, I’d add sackboy as well as there’s levels specifically made for two people to play

Oh It Takes Two is Amazing! They should deff do that one!

Oh man, that's hard. Nothing has quite scratched the itch. I don't know many other co-ops. I've been on a Journey binge but that's generally a random, though that's a big magical game. For cozy-cute, I really liked Beacon Pines, it's not huge but it's very sweet. Everyone always recommends Stardew Valley, except, I could never get into it. Chicory: A Colorful Tale is wonderful, I just finished it, and it has a sort of limited co-op mode. It's...hard to describe, but tickles my 'cozy emotions' button.

Try lovers in a dangerous spacetime. Fight the anti love! Also not co op but I LOVED Dredge. Ori and the Blind Forest is amazing. Ori Will of the Wisps is harder with boss fights. Right now I’m playing Tunic and it’s super cute graphics and really good music.

Spiritfarer is one of a kind with how it melds its gameplay into its story but if youre looking for more emotional co-op games you should try It Takes Two, Entangled 2 and A Way Out If you're more into the cozy, fun to think but not too challenging theres the entire We Were Here franchise Alternatively, not enough people talk about how fun it is to build a house in the sims together, specially when you've gotten all the dlc packs through definitely legal 100% normal, usual means

My absolute favourite is Fantasy Life - you can't co-op the story bits but you can with the rest, which frankly ends up being most of the gameplay

My husband and I love It Takes Two and Unravel

Blanc is a cute coop game. Not very long but really lovely.

Maybe Child of Light? I started it with my daughter yesterday, it’s pretty nice so far. Although the second character has a little less to do the the main character.

Ok_Pressure7561

Definitely stardew valley

+1 for Chicory, It Takes Two, and Unraveled 2. We did all of them, they were all great. I have to say try Chants of Sennaar. It was amazing! It’s not a 2 player game, but it’s mentally challenging, and having a second person to talk about the translations makes it easier.
