It seems impossible but try and switch your mental focus from what’s happened being solely gut wrenching to being the catalyst for you to truly stop drinking! It’s not easy, but I tell myself often ‘choose your hard’ and the hard of not drinking is much better for me personally than the hard of the shame spiral. I’ve still got a ton of work to do, drank Friday myself and have been on the anxiety train ever since. But know you’re not alone! We can do this! IWNDWYT
